18/01/2010: Bobby McFerrin at Celtic Connections 2010
Bobby McFerrin

We were lucky enough to have been asked to perform a guest spot with Bobby McFerrin, alongside Eddie Reader, Karine Polwart, Annie Grace and Corina Hewitt during his concert at this year's Celtic Connections festival. To say we were in the presence of a musical legend would be an understatement: ten-time Grammy Award winner, world-renowned vocal innovator & improviser, the creator of Don’t Worry Be Happy, over 20 million album sales...

Seeing the way Bobby McFerrin interacts with his audience was unlike anything we've ever seen before. The ease with which he communicates through his music is truly inpiring.

12/03/08: The year so far...

It’s been a hectic start to 2008 for Angus who in the first few months of the year has already managed a trip to Shanghai, released a new album with Box Club, started work producing albums at his studio “Gran’s House” for Findlay Napier & the Bar Room Mountaineers and Eilidh Grant, and is currently on tour with Box Club. After all that there’s just the small matter of the lambing season coming up to deal with! An accordionist work is never done!

For all the latest Box Club gossip you can check out the lovely new website www.boxclub.co.uk where you can listen to samples of the album and if your loving them - order your copy direct from the band.
